Marianna Lamnina is a learning scientist passionate about developing research-informed educational technology that improves student learning and motivation. She holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science in Education with a concentration in Intelligent Technologies from Columbia University. She’s a former Ben and Grace Woods Research Fellow at the Institute for Learning Technologies, where her research focused on developing curricula to incite curiosity in students and leverage that curiosity to improve learning and transfer outcomes. She currently works in ed tech, developing data-driven technical learning solutions in subjects such as coding, data science, artificial intelligence, and applied finance.
